THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF ARTS OF LÉMAN, EXPERTISE AND PEDAGOGY TO AWAKEN THE ARTIST IN YOU

Always keen to share his vision of transdisciplinary artistic education, Benjamin Hatt founded the Académie Internationale Des Arts du Léman, AIDA-LÉMAN, in 2012.

The development of the fields taught has led to a constant increase in the number of students.

AIDA-LÉMAN offers excellent transdisciplinary artistic training based on a personalised, dynamic and innovative pedagogy. It is aimed at a wide audience, children from 18 months, adolescents and adults, and adapts to the rhythm of each student's progress.

Transdisciplinary links and exchanges between the various artistic disciplines are encouraged thanks to the immersion method of teaching. The choice of course is essential for the student's experience and feelings.

Since the beginning of the academic year in September 2020, AIDA-LÉMAN has developed into an associative structure with the aim of eventually applying for cantonal recognition and support from local and cantonal authorities.

“Educating is not just instructing”

The artist-teacher is invited to create moments of life in which all his faculties and those of his partners are called upon, expressed, shared so that they can finally be harmonized.

The main role of artistic education is to introduce students to the principles of life linking artistic expression and the human being. Thus, listening and respect can become a perception of being.

The creation of AIDA-LÉMAN is based on the following three aspects

Transdisciplinarity

The creative and universal principles of art are the basis of a partnership with teachers who are convinced of the value of exchanges and their development in the concept of transdisciplinary teaching.

Vision of integration

The Academy fully supports its teaching artists in their personal artistic lives. The training and development of the artistic personality is vital for teachers and lecturers.

Pedagogy and artistic values

The practice of art is essential for the solid and harmonious construction of the individual and therefore of society as a whole.

Qualified teachers offer everyone the best possible guidance, in appropriate and pleasant surroundings that encourage encounters, exchanges and creativity.

EDUCATIONAL ART

A CREATIVE IDEA, A TRANSDISCIPLINARY CHALLENGE

Art, in all its forms, has been one of the essential sources of life, expression and communication since cave man. A liberator and vector of fulfilment, living art requires the manifestation of wholeness. Rooted in the depths of human experience, it flourishes in the transmission and practice of knowledge in five disciplines in particular: music, dance, poetry, drama and the visual arts.

To become an artist is to develop the receptive faculties that allow one to resonate with the vibrations of art and with the message, of which it is but the vehicle.

Body and mind are inseparable, in art as in life. The body can thus become a wonderful instrument for the expression of beauty. Combined with gesture and language, it becomes capable of conveying the most powerful emotions, of transmitting the deepest, most vivid and most sincere feelings.

Sharing this creative passion, experiencing human relationships that allow the exchange of ideas and visions to evolve together, but also transcribing and transmitting art in its entirety, in the most lively way, to the youngest as well as to adolescents and adults, are all desires and deep convictions that AIDA-LÉMAN wishes to achieve through transdisciplinary teaching.

Initiation from the earliest age, based on the universality of the original artistic language, is the vocation of this institution, which puts into practice, with enthusiasm, dynamism and creativity, the rules of pedagogy based on the knowledge, technique and experience of our masters.
